How it came together.
The brief
Pink Carat Jewellery is a high-end Adelaide jewellery brand with a product that genuinely deserves premium content. Fine jewellery lives or dies on detail, the cut, the clarity, the light, and Pink Carat needed a content partner who could capture that detail and translate it into product and social imagery that felt as considered as the pieces themselves. The brief was clear. Build a studio-grade product photography library, produce a series of Reels that would work inside the Instagram algorithm, and deliver the whole thing at a standard that matched the premium positioning of the Pink Carat brand. No stock imagery. No templated carousel graphics. A real shoot, real product, and a content library the brand could own outright.
The strategy and execution
The Fuel My Social approach to Pink Carat was studio-led. We ran a controlled photography production with the full Pink Carat range, shot to capture every facet of each piece under lighting designed specifically for jewellery. Every image was usable across the website, paid ad creative, social feeds, and partner decks, with consistent treatment across the range so the entire content library felt like a single coherent brand story. Alongside the stills, we produced six short-form Reels built around the Pink Carat product. Each one was shot and edited with Instagram’s algorithm in mind: portrait orientation, tight run time, and a hook in the first second. The Reels were designed to work both organically on the Pink Carat feed and as source material for future paid advertising, giving the brand a deep short-form video library without needing a separate production.
